Good to know

The best time to travel to Morocco

The best times to visit Morocco are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is mild and pleasant. These months are ideal for sightseeing and desert and mountain tours, as temperatures are comfortable and the landscapes are in bloom.

Summer (June to August) is very hot, especially inland and in the Sahara, but the coastal regions and mountains are more pleasant and well suited to beach holidays and excursions.

Winter (December to February) brings mild temperatures on the coast and cold weather in the mountains and the desert – ideal for city sightseeing and winter sports in the Atlas Mountains. Overall, spring and autumn offer the best conditions for a trip to Morocco.
