Good to know

The best time to travel to South Korea

The best time to visit South Korea is in spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is mild and pleasant. These seasons are ideal for sightseeing, outdoor activities and experiencing the cherry blossoms or the autumn foliage.

Summer (July to August) is hot and humid with monsoon rains, but it's a good time for beach trips and summer festivals. Winter (December to February) is cold and snowy – perfect for skiing, snowboarding and winter festivals. All in all, spring and autumn offer the best conditions for a trip through South Korea, while summer and winter open up special activities such as beach holidays and winter sports.
